The Yamaha 242 and 240 Series take Yamaha Boats to the next level of sophistication and refinement by offering an innovative design that is like nothing else on the water today.

The bow seating area is wider and longer than ever before to allow the tallest passengers and multiple riders the space to stretch out and lounge while moored.  Insert the standard bow filler cushion and you have one of the largest, most comfortable and most versatile bow seating configurations available in its class. 

Also new in the bow is the industry’s first “rumble seat” design, a fun and innovative seating option that allows riders in the bow to enjoy a unique, front-facing point-of-view in the forward-most part of the bow when underway. 

The helm layout is minimalist and sophisticated with large analog gauges and integrated digital information displays that provide independently controlled access to a wide range of new information. 

The GPS-based information control center can display 18 different functions and is the first in the industry to provide real time fuel flow data. 

Also new at the helm is Yamaha’s exclusive Cruise Assist feature that will hold the engines at a specific RPM for effortless cruising or towing, as well as Yamaha’s signature No Wake Mode™, now with three different RPM settings to allow the driver to easily increase or decrease their no wake speed to find the optimum setting.

Completing the helm is a new premium stereo system with direct plug-in iPod® connectivity inside the unit. 











The two-tier stern lounge area and swim platform of the 242 and 240 Series is larger and lower to the water line than ever before – just a few inches from the surface of the water - which makes reboarding even easier and hanging out at the stern with family and friends more fun.  The stern area on the 242 Limited S comes complete with seat cushions, cup holders, stereo remote control and speakers.
