YTA Certification Yamaha Technical Academy
The Yamaha Technical Academy (YTA) is the next step up from Five Star Certification for technicians. The first of three levels is Bronze, which is a comprehensive self-paced course the technician completes at the dealership, followed by an extensive online test. Silver certification comes by successfully attending a demanding one-week “hands-on” training course at a regional Yamaha training facility in Georgia, Wisconsin or California. Only then can the technician attempt the top-level Gold certification by passing a rigorous test at the end of another demanding week of training. Technicians with Gold certification have shown themselves to be among the very best in the business.
