 Optional on new F225, F250, and F300 V6 Offshore models, the new F350 with Command Link Plus compatibility, and various other Yamaha Outboard models, the Electronic Control Module disables the ignition system via an operator-controlled key fob. When the operator wishes to use the outboard, a simple command via the wireless key fob enables the ignition system.
Two highly water-resistant key fobs are provided with each system.
The Y-COP Immobilizer system will become available for other Yamaha outboards in the future. For those models currently scheduled for production, please consult the chart below for more information.
