SALTWATER SERIES XL™ PROPELLERS
To convert the power and torque of our V8 outboards into massive amounts of thrust, Yamaha introduces a completely new line of propellers, Saltwater Series XL. Specifically and exclusively CAD-designed for only the V8 5.3L outboards, they feature greater strength and a larger diameter than any propeller Yamaha has ever made. SWS XL propellers have 21% more surface area than even Yamaha's largest Saltwater Series II propeller, and are designed to allow these brutes to push large offshore boats to plane with authority. Highly-polished stainless steel with impressive cast-in naming on the barrel, the SWS XL propellers provide excellent acceleration, cruising, and top speed characteristics, while maintaining fuel efficiency. Available in both right and left hand rotation; 17", 19", 21", 23" and 25" pitch; and, of course, they're Yamaha quality. Note: SWS XL propellers are specifically and exclusively designed for V8 5.3L outboards and will not fit any other Yamaha outboard model, nor will any other line of Yamaha propellers fit our V8 outboards.
