Endless Propeller Solutions by Yamaha

With all that Yamaha has to offer in regard to propellers, virtually any boat can perform at its peak. That includes yours.

From large offshore boats to family watersports boats to the fastest of bass and bay boats, Yamaha has a propeller solution that's just right for your application.

We design them.  We build them.  We extensively test them.  All to Yamaha's exacting standards of quality, performance, and durability.

Yamaha propeller solutions.  Well beyond expectations.

Saltwater Series II™- SDS™

Shift Dampener System (SDS™)
Yamaha’s patent-pending Shift Dampener System uses a unique, splined rubber hub and special aft washer (cam) to distribute and absorb the forces, and the resulting sounds and vibrations, that are normally associated with shifting an outboard into gear. The result: far quieter and smoother, ‘clunk free’ shifting.  “Amazing” is the word most-often used to describe the result.

Currently available on all models of Saltwater Series XL 3-bladed propellers for Yamaha 5.3L F350; and for V6’s on large boats, all Saltwater Series II 3-bladed props and Saltwater Series HS4 4-bladed propellers.

All of these propellers are renowned for their durability and superior mid-range fuel efficiency on large offshore boats, along with excellent anti-ventilation characteristics for better handling in rough seas.  Now, they’re known for being super-quiet, too.

V MAX® Ventless Series
V MAX® Ventless Series Propellers
To properly harness the awesome power of Yamaha’s new V MAX® SHO™ four stroke outboard, we proudly introduce the V MAX Ventless Series of propellers.

Perfect for bass, flats, and bay boats powered by the new V MAX SHO outboard, these props are purposely designed for more acceleration, higher top-end speed and superior performance and handling when mated to these outboards.

Made of the highest-quality stainless steel and featuring a highly-polished finish with cast-in naming on the barrel, they will be available in 23”, 25”, 27”, and 29” pitches in right-hand rotation only.

NOTE: Two stroke outboards used in bass, flat, and bay boat applications should be equipped with V MAX Vented Series propellers.

Performance XL4™ Series
Performance XL4™ - Series Propellers
Large offshore boats, such as express cruisers and walk-around models, require massive thrust to plane and additional propeller ‘grip’ for maximum operational efficiency. For applications where these attributes are important, Yamaha introduces its XL4 line of propellers.

Helping to harness the incredible power of Yamaha’s 5.3L V8 outboards, these new four-bladed propellers offer outstanding acceleration, quick planing, and improved “grip” to help maintain plane at lower speeds and help eliminate ventilation, particularly in turns and following seas. They’re manufactured from the highest-quality stainless steel, for maximum quality and durability. Polished to a lustrous shine, they will be available in 15” and 17” pitches and
in both right and left-hand rotation.

Please note these particular propellers will only fit Yamaha’s line of V8 outboards.

Performance XL4™ - HP Series
Performance XL4™ - HP Series
Lighter, high-performance offshore boats, such as open fishing-style hulls, can also benefit from the XL4’s excellent acceleration, quick planing, and maximum grip of the water. For these craft, Yamaha introduces the new Performance XL4 – HP series of propellers.

Offering many of the same performance characteristics of their XL4
brethren, their advanced blade geometry is specifically designed for
Yamaha V8 applications where higher speeds are enabled by a specific boat’s hull design.

Featuring a highly-polished stainless steel finish, they will be manufactured to Yamaha’s stringent standards in 24” pitch, right- and left-hand rotation. Other pitches are also in development.
