It's high-performance design includes a single, electronically controlled throttle valve and Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection, which ensure the right mix of air and fuel necessary for optimal power and efficiency. A Yamaha-exclusive, plasma-fused sleeveless cylinders significantly reduce weight, while Micro-Textured Cylinder Walls retain oil for reduced friction and wear and even greater efficiency.
Adding to the efficiency are strategically placed sensors that respond to atmospheric and engine conditions and make adjustments for top performance.
