Y-COP™ Immobilizer System
Dock it and lock it.
An outboard is quite an investment. So when you leave it at the dock, don't leave it unlocked. Our new Yamaha Customer Outboard Protection System (Y-COP™) disables the ignition system with the push of a button on your key fob. Optional on the new F225, F250 and F300 V6 Offshore outboards, each Y-COP System includes two water-resistant key fobs, and the ability to program up to three additional key fobs.
The optional Y-COP Immobilizer System is compatible with the following Yamaha outboards:
- NEW (WHEN INTRODUCED)
- F350 w/Command Link Plus capability
- V6 Offshore F300, F250 and F225 Models
- F70

- F115 (from April 2010)

- F90/75 (from April 2009)
