| | Yamaha, in support of outdoorsmen and women around the country, joined the National Riffle Association (NRA) for its 136th annual gathering set this year in St. Louis, Missouri, April 13-15. The conference attracted the largest crowd ever to St. Louis for a single trade event, as more than 60,000 visitors passed through the America’s Center where Yamaha showed off its latest 2007 ATV and Side-by-Side vehicles.
Among the acres of guns, gear and outdoor gadgets that lined the convention center halls, Yamaha rolled out a number of tough vehicles including the Grizzly 700 FI 4x4 Auto. Ducks Unlimited Edition and the Rhino 660 Auto. 4x4 Ducks Unlimited Edition. Favorites with hunters, each of the DU units is outfitted in Advantage Max-4™ High Definition Camouflage, gun boots, and all the necessary hunting accessories.
The NRA’s annual event, which dates back to its founding year of 1871, is always a popular event with sportsmen from all walks of life. Fan favorite Ted Nugent walked the halls and gave an interview to NRA News, which had a stage set up in the center of the action, and John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, presented the keynote address at the Members Banquet.
