| | Yamaha has received the 2008 “ATV of the Year” award from ATV Rider magazine for the Raptor 250 sport ATV. This special recognition from one of the leading ATV enthusiast publications is the latest in the Raptor 250’s two-year history, which also includes ATV Action magazine “ATV of the Year” honors, an ATV Sport magazine “Best in Class” award, and a Consumers Digest “Best Buy” nod.
“Each and every one of our testers exclaimed with excitement that the time spent on the Raptor 250 was absolutely the most fun that any of them have had in years,” ATV Rider magazine notes in its January 2009 issue, which announced the ATV of the Year.
The Raptor 250 is the lightest production sport ATV ever made, with aggressive Raptor styling, class-exclusive five-speed manual transmission, a torquey and durable 249cc air-cooled SOHC four-stroke single cylinder engine, and low-profile 19-inch rear tires. |
