Returning for its tenth and perhaps most important year yet, Graves Motorsports is again partnering with Yamaha Factory Racing. Coming off of highly successful double championship 2006 season, the Graves Team will prepare Ben Bostrom’s Superstock R1 and Josh Herrin’s Supersport R6.
Team Owner Chuck Graves said, “Yamaha has entrusted us with a large responsibility in preparing these race machines. We have proven in the past we can deliver and the Graves Team is excited to meet this challenge.”
The alliance between Yamaha and Graves Motorsports is a win-win situation for both companies. Yamaha provides inside engineering assistance while Graves’ own company, Graves Motorsports, provides its own in-house performance products to complete the bike’s racing package.
Keith McCarty, Yamaha Racing Manager, said, “The Graves team has met all of our expectations of ensuring our shared riders are consistent winners on the YZF-R1 and R6. The Superstock championship last year proved how well the team is managed and how competitive their race package is.” |
