Fast Facts: Dane has competed in AMA Pro Racing since 2009. In 2010 Dane will ride the No. 2 Project 1 Atlanta Yamaha YZF-R6 in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike.

Career highlights: Off to fantastic start on the YZF-R6, Dane began the season with a career best second place finish at the Daytona 200, round 1 of the 2010 AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship. In 2009 Dane finished 18th in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike standings with five top-10 finishes. He also began campaigning the SunTrust Moto-GT1 season at the halfway point, earning three poles (VIR, New Jersey and the 8 Hours At Daytona) and three victories (Mid-Ohio, Topeka and the 8 Hours At Daytona). A third generation racer, he is also a student at the University of Tulsa. His father, Tryg Westby, is an accomplished road racer who still competes.

Personal: Dane enjoys riding all types of motorcycles and bicycles, including cyclocross, road cycling and mountain biking.
