Yamaha riders won 6 class championships & 20 podium finishes
Yamaha Amateur Team riders Jeremy Martin, Cooper Webb, Justin Hoeft and Chase Sexton all made their presence known at the second stop of the Amateur Motocross season in the lone star state. They were greeted with High winds and rainy conditions at this historic facility.
Cooper Webb on his Star/Valli/GYTR prepared YZ250F’s battled the challenging conditions and the competition to completely dominate all four motos in both Schoolboy Stock and Mod classes before picking up his 2 class championships followed by an additional 2 podium finishes. Jeremy Martin continued his winning ways by bringing home the 450 Pro class championship plus 2 solid podium finishes in the 250 Pro and 450A Mod classes.
Alex Rodriquez added another class championship to his impressive 2012 resume in the 450 Int Mod class. In addition he had 3 podium finishes in both 250 & 450 classes on his JGR backed YZ’s. Taylor Higgins put in an impressive ride in both moto’s on her YZ125 and came home with the Woman’s Non Pro Champions. The winning tradition of the PW50 continued, thanks to the efforts of Nicholas Romano in the 50cc (4-6) SOS class championship.
