Yamaha mounted riders won 5 Class Championships & 10 podium finishes
Justin Hoeft on his GYTR/Yamalube/Thousand Oaks YZ85 continued his winning ways on the Mountain by winning both the 85cc (14-16) and Super Mini classes. He started his week off by finishing a strong 2nd place in moto 1 of the 85cc class and then won the final 3 motos. In the Super Mini class, he had to battle some of the sports premier riders to take home the Championship via his 3/1 moto finishes. His efforts in the final moto left a lasting impression on everyone present as a rider to watch. At the end of the week, he added an incredible 5 more Bear trophies to his growing collection.
The Vance & Hines Yamaha riders of Steven Tokarski and Paul Coates made their presence known in both Pro and Intermediate classes. Steven made a successful return to racing after being off due to injury by finishing 2nd in both 250 Pro & Open Pro classes plus a 3rd in 450 Pro. Paul finished 2nd in the Open Int classes and finished off the podium in his other main events because of some bad racing luck.
Doug Dubach led our efforts during Vet weekend by winning the 40+ Expert class. Robert Werschey won the Masters 50+B for the second year in a row. Ryan Hughes on his Rock River Powersports/Ryno powered YZ450F won the Vet 30+ Pro class.
