Bill Ballance, with a record nine Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) XC-1 Pro Championships, is widely considered to be the best ATV Off-Road racer of all time having held the top GNCC title from 2000-2008. 

Ballance continues to chase the podium in 2011, but he will also be managing his growing Ballance Racing team adding Thomas Brown, Yamaha’s ATVA/AMA National Motocross racer, to the roster with Taylor Kiser and Walker Fowler.

When you start riding at the age of four, it becomes a way of life, as it did for Ballance. Although he began his off-road adventures on two wheels, he soon found ATVs more to his liking and began focusing on four wheelers at the ripe old age of seven. At 14, he began racing local MX races and at 18 he turned pro – the rest, as they say, is ATV racing history.

As a veteran top competitor and record-holding champion, Ballance continues to lead Yamaha’s ATV cross country efforts with more than a decade of winning experience.
