Yamaha congratulates Traci Cecco for winning her unprecedented seventh women’s GNCC ATV racing title in 2008.

Traci Cecco first found herself on an ATV when she was 10 years old. She started riding with her dad, mainly for fun. It wasn't until she was about 16 years old that racing ATVs showed up on her radar. Back then it was because she enjoyed beating the boys.

"I am very competitive," says Traci. "There's nothing better than getting out there and proving to everyone that a girl can go just as fast and ride the same tracks and trails as everyone else."

These days, Traci is beating everyone - men and women - on a regular basis during the morning race of the GNCC Series. So far she has taken home a total of seven GNCC Women’s titles and will be vying for an eight next year. The Yamaha YFZ450 has been Traci's ride of choice since it was introduced in 2003, and she will race the all-new YFZ450R in 2009.

"The YFZ450 fits me the best by far," says Traci when asked why she prefers the Yamaha. "We’ve had tremendous success on the YFZ450, and I can’t wait to race the new YFZ450R next year."

Traci Cecco will be competing aboard her #201 Yamaha YFZ450R in the 2008 GNCC Series and select other ATV Cross Country and MX races across the country in 2008. 

Traci will be piloting her Yamaha four-stroke YFZ450R in the 2009 AMA Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series.
