The Yamaha Advantage
Reliability. When you think about it, that’s probably the most important word in snowmobiling. If you’re riding in the back country, miles from civilization, you want a sled that won’t leave you stranded. Yamaha engineers know that and make their design decisions around it. Every Yamaha snowmobile model is durability tested so you get the most reliable sled available. Dealers know it. Media testing experts know it. Consumers know it. Yamaha makes the most reliable snowmobiles on the planet. That’s the Yamaha Advantage!

Yamaha 4-stroke sled with 36,000 miles smashes the world record!

We know Yamaha 4-stroke snowmobiles have the #1 Reliability on the market. But retired U.S. Marine Bob Davis proved it by making the longest snowmobile journey in recorded history: 12,163 miles!

“I rode over 200 miles a day for 60 days straight,” says Davis, the current world record holder. “My 2005 RS Venture had 24,000 miles on it when I set out to break the record and I knew it would never leave me stranded in the woods. To me, that’s the Yamaha Advantage!”

Bob lived the Yamaha Advantage on his epic journey. You can enjoy the most reliable sleds on the market every time you go out for a ride on your Yamaha 4-stroke snowmobile … even if you call it a trip before you roll 12,000 miles.

Congratulations, Bob – and all the other high mileage heroes out there riding Yamaha 4-stroke sleds – on your amazing achievements!
