Up Close and Personal: Yamaha VX Cruiser
Excerpts from Boating World® magazine, May 2007
The VX Cruiser™, Yamaha’s new three passenger watercraft for ’07, combines the affordability of the company’s excellent entry-level VX™ line with the comfort and support of the Cruiser® seat found on Yamaha’s higher-end FX Cruiser®.

And as with the other VXs, you get an assortment of features that belie the entry-level categorization, such as an extended reboarding platform, multifunction instrumentation, glove box with self draining beverage holders, dual concave mirrors and 19 gallons of storage between the bow storage compartment and the glove box.

The VX Cruiser features Yamaha’s compression-molded fiber composite hull, which is colored to match the paint’s exterior color, making scratches less apparent.  According to Yamaha, the VX Series of WaveRunners also offers superior gas mileage than comparable models, adding up to fuel savings and increased cruiser range.

At $8,299 (MSRP), the VX Cruiser is the most expensive PWC in Yamaha’s VX line, which starts at $7,399 (MSRP), but it gives you extra features and the Cruiser® seat.
