Duck Lake

Misc.: Duck Lake is a 25,000 acre unit located in southeastern Maine. Duck Lake, the Unknown Lakes, and Gassabias Lake offer fishing, boating, swimming, camping, and snowmobiling opportunities.

Misc.: 11,176 acres; Moosehead Lake includes Sugar and Farm Islands and most of the shore in Days Academy and Kineo Townships. There are numerous boat access campsites on the shore. Hiking trails provide visitors access to the spectacular views from the summit of Mount Kineo. Boats may be launched at several locations on the lake including Lily Bay State Park and Rockwood.

Richardson Lake

Directions: Located between Upper Richardson Lake and Mooselookmeguntic Lake in western Maine. Access to the southern portion of Richardsontown is by water, with launch sites at Oquossoc in Rangeley and at South Arm in Township C. Route 16 passes through the northern portion of the unit in Adamstown.
Misc.: 17,757 acres; fishing, boating, and swimming are popular recreational activities; camping available through South Arm Campground (fee). Free boat launch available.

Misc.: 10,904 acres; Rocky Lake has numerous coves and islands, and along with Second Lake, provides interesting warm-water fishing. The East Machias River offers fishing and canoeing opportunities. Facilities include boat launches and campsites.

Directions: Access is gained via a gravel road leaving Route 11 south of Millinocket.
Misc.: Seboeis contains a considerable amount of shoreline on two large lakes and is located south of Millinocket. Campers and day visitors on this 13,000 acre parcel enjoy fishing and impressive views of the nearby mountains, including Katahdin. Snowmobilers pass through the unit in winter, traveling from Milo to Medway.

Squa Pan Lake

Misc.: The entire eastern shore of this large Aroostook County lake is the boundary of this 18,000 acre unit. Most of rugged Squa Pan Ridge is within the unit. Water access campsites on the lake shore and snowmobile trails through the woods are the most popular destinations for visitors.
